Lucky Khowa is a South African Executive Producer and the Founder of Devandile Media, a dynamic production company known for creating authentic, culturally resonant television content.

Born and raised in Port Shepstone on the South Coast of KwaZulu-Natal, The journey into the film and television industry is rooted in perseverance, passion, and self-development. Coming from a small town near Durban, he built his career from the ground up starting as a driver, then developing his technical skills through studying cinematography and working as a cameraman on major productions for over five years.

Driven by a deep passion for storytelling, Lucky transitioned into content creation and producing, turning his long-standing love for writing into a professional pursuit. He has since created and contributed to a range of impactful television shows, including:

His commitment to skills development is now evolving into the establishment of a formal academy aimed at professionalizing film training and creating opportunities for the next generation.

In addition to his work in television, Lucky is also a writer with an unpublished book, further reflecting his dedication to storytelling across multiple platforms.

With a strong foundation in both technical and creative disciplines, Lucky Khowa continues to shape South African television by telling real stories that connect with audiences while building pathways for others to succeed in the industry.
